Following in the footsteps of several other KAPEG staff members who have obtained higher degrees abroad, Parash Acharya has received a scholarship from NZAID to undertake a research Masters at the University of Cantebury, Christchurch, New Zealand.  Parash's research topic will be 'Low Temperature Differential Stirling Engine Power Generation System Control'.
Parash made the following comments, "It would not have been possible for me to enroll in the program without financial support, hence I am grateful for the NZAID scholarship.  My enrolment in the program with scholarship was only possible because of all my previous research and development work within KAPEG. I would like to thank all the KAPEG members for their help and support during my work without whom it would have been impossible for me continue further study in such a reputable University."
Parash and his wife Nisha will leave in early 2011 for New Zealand.  While they will be sorely missed at KAPEG, they will remain involved in KAPEG's activities and will return to Nepal in two years more knolwedgable and more prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.
From the rest of the team at KAPEG, Congratulations Parash and Nisha!
